Working closely with the board members of the Disabled American Veterans Charities of Central California throughout the years, their presence in the community has increased as a result of public relations, printed materials, broadcast advertisements, and establishing a web presence.
The DAV wanted to showcase their relationship with Segs4Vets; together they started an annual charity event to raise awareness and procure donations to provide donated segways to veterans with mobility difficulties. To get the word out about their efforts, and further donations, testimonial videos were filmed featuring Central Valley disabled veterans. Events were held that included the premier of the videos to benefactors, and an the official segway presentation to veteran recipients, which has media coverage every year. They are currently in their 5th year of this program.
The DAV continues to report increased sales and donations year over year. This success allows the company to continue its charitable giving within the community and in its efforts to support disabled veterans.
